Las instituciones que integran el Grupo 9 de Universidades (G-9) se unieron el pasado noviembre en un consorcio para celebrar conjuntamente la Noche Europea de los Investigadores e Investigadoras 2020, coordinadas por la Universidad de Oviedo. La Comisi\u00f3n Europea (CE) financiar\u00e1 las actividades que el Grupo va a desarrollar el 27 de noviembre en 12 ciudades de sus comunidades aut\u00f3nomas, en el marco de la mencionada iniciativa de divulgaci\u00f3n cient\u00edfica y tecnol\u00f3gica. El proyecto se gest\u00f3 dentro del grupo de trabajo de Cultura Cient\u00edfica de la Sectorial de Investigaci\u00f3n del G-9 y constituye uno de los primeros proyectos colaborativos del Grupo 9 de Universidades con financiaci\u00f3n de programas de la Uni\u00f3n Europea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Las universidades participantes ser\u00e1n las de Cantabria, Castilla-La Mancha, Extremadura, Islas Baleares, Oviedo, Pa\u00eds Vasco, P\u00fablica de Navarra y Zaragoza, con la colaboraci\u00f3n de la Universidad de La Rioja.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00bfC\u00f3mo lo vamos a hacer?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

El personal investigador de estas universidades dedica la tarde y noche del 27 de noviembre a la divulgaci\u00f3n para mostrar el lado m\u00e1s humano de la ciencia con una programaci\u00f3n variada y equilibrada entre ciencias experimentales y humanidades. As\u00ed, se llevar\u00e1n a cabo talleres, demostraciones, juegos o competiciones con m\u00e1s de un centenar de actividades al alcance de todos los p\u00fablicos, pero prestando especial atenci\u00f3n a los j\u00f3venes en edad escolar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Previo al gran evento del 27 de noviembre, y durante los meses de septiembre, octubre y noviembre, se organizar\u00e1n diferentes actividades de promoci\u00f3n de la Noche Europea de los  Investigadores e Investigadoras; como una retransmisi\u00f3n en directo de mon\u00f3logos cient\u00edficos de los Risarchers de la Universidad de Zaragoza o actividades del Laboratorio S-TEAM en centros educativos promovidos por las universidades participantes del consorcio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En el apartado de Programaci\u00f3n de esta p\u00e1gina web se puede acceder a los diferentes programas divulgativos de las universidades participantes en el consorcio y a sus acciones conjuntas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00bfQui\u00e9nes son los promotores de la actividad?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

La Noche Europea de los Investigadores, que se celebra en m\u00e1s de 370 ciudades del continente, est\u00e1 financiada por la Comisi\u00f3n Europea bajo las Acciones Marie Sk\u0142odowska-Curie (MSCA) -iniciativa para fomentar las carreras cient\u00edficas en Europa-, que se enmarca en Horizonte 2020, Programa Marco de Investigaci\u00f3n e Innovaci\u00f3n de la Uni\u00f3n Europea. Sus principales objetivos son acercar la figura de las investigadoras y los investigadores a la ciudadan\u00eda para que conozca su trabajo y los beneficios que aporta a la sociedad, as\u00ed como fomentar la elecci\u00f3n de una carrera cient\u00edfica entre el estudiantado eliminando las barreras de g\u00e9nero.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En esta convocatoria de la Noche Europea de los Investigadores e Investigadoras 2020, la Comisi\u00f3n Europea contaba con 8M de euros y concurrieron 100 proyectos. En Espa\u00f1a, adem\u00e1s de las Universidades del G9, han recibido financiaci\u00f3n los proyectos presentados por Madrid, Andaluc\u00eda, Canarias, Gerona y Zaragoza.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
