One night, I dreamed of being a researcher, and today I’m…
One night I dreamed I was a researcher and now I am (or at least I’m working on it through my thesis). I didn’t realize my dreams pointed out I wanted to be a researcher until much later.
My desire to find the answers to my questions comes from when I was little, basically because I was annoying. Yes, annoying. I did nothing but ask “why”, I had my parents and sister exhausted.
Among the many whys I wondered about, the one that worried me most was why people behaved the way they did, and no answer made me happy. Then, all of a sudden, I decided I couldn’t keep waiting for an answer to my questions, and that I had to find the answers myself (because I’m not only annoying, but also a bit stubborn)
Currently, I am lucky to be able to find the answers to my questions thanks to the doctorate I’m working on with the group of Psychometry at the University of Oviedo. My thesis focused on the relationship between the use of social networks and various psychological problems. What I would want most from this adventure I’m in is that the answers to my questions help improve the lives of others (And also be able to keep working in research)
By the way, we are doing a study, so if you could dedicate half an hour to answer the following, I would be very grateful.
