EUROPEAN RESEARCHERS NIGHT PRE-EVENT
ERASMUS DAY. “Education as an instrument for citizen integration and social inclusion, and its European projection”

The University of Oviedo joins this initiative, as a pre-event for the European Researchers Night, with an activity organized by the Jean Monnet project “Vivir Europa” (http://www.uniovi.net/jeanmonnet/proyectos/Vivir_Europa_IV/). The project has as its goal to promote knowledge about the EU as a way to promote its values and aid in building a European identity from students at elementary, high school and vocational training levels.
For this purpose, a roundtable titled “La educación como instrumento de integración ciudadana e inclusión social y su proyección europea” has been organized, scheduled October 15, 18h through Teams. The following people will take part:
José Alba Alonso, professor of Economical Structure at the University of Oviedo and vice-president of the Consejo Asturiano del Movimiento Europeo.
Alberto Arrufat Cardava, Jean Monnet professor and international and EU law professor at the Catholic University of Valencia.
Pasquale Lino Saccà, Jean Monnet professor “ad personam”, LUMSA, Rome.
Mª José Rodríguez Carbajal, Legal counsellor on competition law at the Directorate General of Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs, of the European Comission. National Expert in Secondment from the Administration of the Principado de Asturias.
Luis S. Pais, Vice-president para Academic Affairs and International Relations at the Instituto Politécnico de Bragança.
