Roundtable ‘Ciencia para días inciertos’
The roundtable meeting ‘Ciencia para días inciertos’ took place last September 25. It gathered researchers working on the six projects belonging to the European Researchers Night which are funded by the European Commission, and it housed a debate about science, the future, and how science can help us understand a current global climate marked by uncertainty and COVID-19.
The participants of the digital event were: Elena González Rey, researcher in the Instituto de Parasitología y Biomedicina López Neyra (IPBLN-CSIC); Julián Casanova, professor of Modern History in the University of Zaragoza; Eva Gallardo, from the Complutense University of Madrid and the Instituto de Ciencias Matemáticas-ICMAT-CSIC; Álex Arenas, from the Universidad Rovira i Virgili, and Ángel Ramos de Miguel, from the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canarias.
The debate was opened by Oscar Barreiro, officer of this edition of the European Researchers Night in the European Commission. The roundtable is an activity organized by the six Spanish Nights funded by the European Commission.
